Last Monday Diane and I spent some time having a catch up afternoon. Sharing our journal work and some exercises from a book we had both worked with. After seeing Shaun Tan’s ‘Arrival’ Diane thought it might be interesting to see if we could manage a short exercise. Pencil only on a single journal page, using 5 to 15 images, hopefully to tell a story with no words. Finishing before August 18th, that was the brief. I found it hard not using words,hard developing an interesting story and could not find humour anywhere. This is unfinished.
