Returning from the Farmers Market in Blenheim Sarah slowed down enough for me to take a photo of this gate, one of the items on my list to draw. I used watercolour pencils and watercolour crayons to try and draw it.

What would you like to be behind the gate? I think it was a stately old timber home, set well back with a far reaching lawn. There was a larger gate (open) along the same boundry that lead to the house and other buildings that was of fine chipped gravel. Thanks for the comment and calling by.
