E.D.M. # 78 'Draw a souvenir of a place you've been to. Journal a bit about your memories of the place.' This is a small glass souvenir from Murano, about 2cm across. We stayed in Venice at the Hotel Gorizia A la Valiga. We have some great memories of the breakfasts and the waiter, the lift and the language. Touring on the edge of summer made for very few other tourists, the odd cool wet day and we got to see St Marks Square with water threatening to inundate it. It was wonderful to see the city and other islands, we not only left a clock and a buffalo but probably a little of ourselves.
