It was lying on wrapping paper and acting as a paperweight in a country museum down Wanganui way. The stone was just sitting there and immediately I knew it was special, I wanted to touch it and pick it up. The assistant was delighted that I had noticed and explained about them to our group. We learnt a new word that day - ventifact.
