A road trip down to Napier last summer, in convoy with friends, lots of photos out of the car window. Most of the stopping time was fine weather and most of the rain fell when we were in the car.

 Some bad photos stayed bad, as I looked to develop other things. Choosing Paynes grey or neutral tint, pencil sketch first, leave in or remove, or just draw what was there?

I continue (just) to try and draw from the 500 photos I have on file. Surprisingly I am enjoying  it more than I thought I would, they are small, monotone and all within one journal.
