EDM # 21 Draw something old or antique. I have drawn these keys more or less at their real size and I did them one at a time, when ever I had a spare few minutes. The light did change. I do admit to using pencil every now and again. The ages of these keys vary from 1st or 2nd century bronze roman key to 20th century latch keys. Sarah and Clinton collect antique keys so I borrowed a few to draw.

Thanks Diane, they are addictive, Sarah kept bringing out more and more keys, I could have done nothing else while visiting.

These keys are lovely. I like that they are each slightly different. It's wonderful when you have access to such great subject matter.

Thanks Monette, they were interesting to draw and intricate enough to make you want to keep trying to get it right.

Glad you could visit Mia, nice to get positive feedback.

Andrea the keys were so old, you wonder who had held them through the centuries, and where they had been hidden to survive.

I really enjoyed looking at your blog and especially love the composition of all of these fabulous keys!

Hi Shirley, composition is one of the things I am trying to work on, often I will go haphazardly filling up the page until I run out of room. Be great if every page was a good one. keys were a good one to practise with. Thanks for visiting.
