Left hand Journal. No 13 Green buoy. I drew this in pencil first using the left hand, then I washed each area with water before I went to paint it. Seemed like a good idea, being really slow meant the colour stayed wet longer and I had the chance to work out the brush pressure. Then I struggled with small awkward dabby strokes filling in the detail. It felt very contrived at this point. The mast went crooked, when it was dry I added a line with my pen and ruler. Surprised when I looked at it the next day, just the weird feeling of painting with the offside hand remains.
