Q: there were so many choices, I found it hard to pick one. I started with a pencil drawing, then I was not sure what to do next. So I scanned it, reversed it and thought a bit. I printed the reverse image onto some Canson paper. Cut that up, tried tracing around some of the shapes, moved the shapes around, thought briefly about embossing, and ended up with a sort of exploded letter, not what I expected when I started. I cut round the shapes and found the best ones to use and pasted them onto some marbled paper. Quite difficult to make two the same, I kept wanting to try out different positions.
