A dark winter's Sunday morning spent cosy inside with the rain and wind at the windows. Perfect for book making. This is a trial of an interesting structure that will hold small pieces of artwork. Camera on wrong setting, sorry.
I saw the structure on Jill Berry's blog and thought it looked interesting. http://jillberrydesign.com/blog/ Jill was most helpful when I needed help to finish. I do need to practise with calligraphy so I can add that. Have you made many books?
I have made only 2 real books and bound them... One was of abstract watercolor pages with quotes here and there, where they seemed to fit... and the other was a design alphabet book. where I cut the various designs for each letter from WC paper out and had colored paper behind it.. they were fun to make and i wish I had the time now to do more... I love caligraphy too but i need to practice more. It is very relaxing ...
