EDM # 26 Draw anything you like. This is a small inherited guillotine, one of several I have and use. Unfortunately the ruler is not quite square anymore so you take your chances. It measures 13cm x 26cm and my drawing is approximately 19cm x 10cm. Drawn on Stonhenge with my rapidograph.13. I should have chosen something that moves, as I have taken most of the morning going in and out of the studio drawing this. A cat, person or event would not have been as patient. I have not drawn the woodgrain on the bed because I don't know the best way of doing it.

Wow! This is a gorgeous drawing. The woodgrain is more than adequately "implied!"

Thanks Christie, maybe I'll leave it then. I never know when to stop fiddling (-:

seesue, I have a long list to go before I catch up with everyone, I plan to continue and with positive remarks like yours, it should make it easier.

I think you've handled the woodgrain just right. Nicely done!

Really, really impressive. Thanks for sharing!

Ahhh, that's two people who think the wood is ok as it is, so thanks Barbara. I will leave it. Martin says the blade is not square to the table, I have to agree with him. Drawing things is definitely a challenge.

Supportive comments and grand coming from you, thanks for the visiting time. It was therapeutic and a challenge. Which of course leads to more tries. Which is good.

Oh my goodness. This is just super. You are really good. More added to the drawing couldn't improve it. It's just great.
