5th Week. Amazing how quickly this weekly excursion to sketch the landscape outside comes around. These two sketches are the best of a tentative bunch. It was a hot afternoon at Michael Joseph Savage's Memorial at Bastion Point. Melting as we sat in the full sun looking at Rangitoto we decided to look for shade and towards the city for the next sketch, and remarking that we need to come here again another time to look east to Brown's Island.
